Shortalls
The shortfall figures shown are intended only as an indication of how much extra funding will need to be provided to meet care costs on a weekly basis and the potential effect care cost could have on savings over time. Until they are confirmed by us any resulting figures should not be implied as offering any advice or recommendation.
The overall cost of care is worked on average life expectancy for some one of the age and gender entered, using institute of actuary’s average life expectancies, and assumed cost of care escalation. Actual costs may turn out to be greater or lower than these depending on state of health and how many years it turns out that care is actually needed.
Cost of advice
Our calculators are free to use. Likewise to establish whether we can help you we also offer a free initial consultation. Should we be able to help and you ask us to advise you, we will then discuss and agree with you a remuneration basis which can be either, an hourly fee basis or alternatively a commission basis. What we will do with the information requested and supplied.
In order to help you and analyse any shortfall, we need certain information from you about your financial and personal circumstances.
By providing us with your personal data:
1. You agree that the information we hold about you can be held on computer and/or paper files.
2. You agree that any information that you give us, including sensitive personal data such as health and medical records, may be disclosed to appropriate third parties for the purpose of obtaining quotations and should you want to proceed, processing your application and the ongoing administration of your investment or policy.
3. We will undertake that any information will only be held as long as is necessary to ensure our obligations to you are met.

5. Should you wish to obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you please write to Compliance Officer at Advice on Care, 8a Richfield Avenue, Reading, Berkshire, RG1 8EQ. We reserve the right to charge you a fee of £10 to cover administration.
